SINCE 1940: FRAN'S 75th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE BOOK

I was honoured when I was approached to design a commemorative book for the well loved Toronto institution, Fran's Restaurant and Bar, or more affectionately known simply as "Fran's Diner". The book was to be part history, part cookbook and part graphic novel with an emphasis on the nostalgia that the name "Fran's" evokes in so many Toronto locals. The printed book is a 7"x10" soft cover magazine style publication with  around 90 pages of archival photos, anecdotes, backstories, food and drink recipes, history, hand-drawn comics and more. All-in-all it's a fun and informative read to say the least
